Machine Washing

Most of our stuffed toys are machine washable for easy cleaning, but always check the care tag for specific instructions.

Before washing: Close zippers, secure any Velcro, and place the toy in a mesh laundry bag to prevent damage.
Use mild detergent: A gentle, baby-safe laundry detergent is best for cleaning.
Cold wash: Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water to avoid damage or shrinkage.

Hand Washing
For toys with delicate features or if the care tag suggests it, hand washing may be the best option:

Use lukewarm water and mild soap.
Gently scrub with a soft sponge or cloth, focusing on stained areas.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap.

Drying

Air Dry: After washing, gently press out excess water (without wringing or twisting) and lay the toy flat to air dry. Make sure it’s fully dry before giving it back to your child.
Machine Drying (if applicable): If the care instructions allow, tumble dry on a low setting with a dryer sheet. Be sure to check for any loose parts or embellishments that could be damaged in the dryer.

Spot Cleaning
For small spills or stains, use a damp cloth with mild soap to spot clean the affected area. Avoid soaking the toy entirely.

Fluffing
To restore the stuffed toy’s fluffiness after washing, gently fluff and reshape it by hand. For extra softness, you can place it in the dryer on a low heat with a few dryer balls or clean tennis balls to help maintain its plush feel.
